What’s the Role About?

Join us in Brisbane as a Systems Engineer, where you’ll be at the heart of managing and enhancing our technology systems. This role is perfect for a technological polyglot who is comfortable handling issues both on the front end and back end. You'll manage servers, desktops, virtual environments, and networking, including tackling SharePoint challenges and Hyper-V server issues. A Linux background is also beneficial.

What You’ll Do

• Support Systems: Manage servers, desktops, virtual environments, mobile devices, and networking equipment with proactive monitoring and maintenance.
• Handle Issues: Resolve technical challenges on both front-end and back-end systems, including SharePoint and Hyper-V servers. A background in Linux is a plus.
• Lead Projects: Oversee the introduction of new systems, implement upgrades, and automate tasks to boost efficiency.
• Provide Support: Handle end-user issues, escalate complex problems, and work on developing robust IT protocols.
• Collaborate & Communicate: Work with global teams to ensure smooth operations and contribute to the Disaster Recovery Plan.




We’d love you to have:


• Experience: 12+ years in Systems Engineering, with hands-on experience in servers, virtualization (Windows Server, Hyper-V, Proxmox), and cloud systems (Office 365).
  
• Technical Skills: Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Python) and software deployment, with a solid understanding of network infrastructure and security practices. Experience with SharePoint, Hyper-V and ProxMox servers (Linux is beneficial).
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage complex systems efficiently.
• Communication: Clear, effective communicator who can explain technical concepts to various stakeholders.
• Team Player: Collaborative, adaptable, and eager to support and learn from colleagues.
