Senior Consultant I, Control Systems - ADMS

Your skills and experience that bring the biggest impact:

You will work closely with clients to gain a thorough understanding of their operational and functional requirements - this role involves identifying necessary modifications to existing applications or developing new solutions as required. Additionally, you will be responsible for defining and leading system testing programmes for SCADA, ADMS, and other operational technology (OT) systems.

The role covers three main areas of responsibility:

1. Technical Studies.

2. Consulting Services.

3. People and/or Project Leadership.

• Provide project integration and support for the installation, upgrade, and maintenance of SCADA and Advanced Distribution Management Systems.
• Lead testing of systems which includes providing feedback on testing results to clients and vendors.
• Contribute to technical work products and take the lead role on projects with other consultants.
• Lead system operation improvement initiatives and maintenance documentation based on continuous reviews.

We’ve got some specific needs that you'll have to meet:

• Seven (7) + years of control systems experience, specifically IT/OT projects, ideally working on the integration of replacement applications and services into legacy environments
• Prior experience leading projects, serving as a mentor and delivering timely results.
• Experience with SDLC and various testing processes and methodologies including risk assessment and management.
• Experience working with Test Tools (e.g. ALM, TestLink, Bugzilla) for testing and defect tracking.
• Advanced user of ADMS vendor systems (e.g. GE PowerOn Advantage, OSI Monarch) and applications.

We’d love you to have:

• Develop solutions independently and have a degree of trust from the client to do so.
• Experience executing end-to-end testing (FAT, SAT and UAT).
• Play a central role in expanding PSC’s ADMS business, helping to shape the team’s capabilities and deliver value to our clients.
• Serve as technical lead and/or reviewer for consulting projects within the Operational Technology service offering

At PSC it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role - we want you to come in and grow, not feel like you're at the top of your grade with no scope to have a career. As compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, and this role is dependent on the individual's attributes, a reasonable estimate of the current range (dependent on candidate experience) is:

$108,000 NZD to $150,000 NZD
