What we’re looking for
PSC is looking for a dynamic accounting professional to join the global finance team. The role will be attractive for someone looking for a career with a global company and a cohesive friendly collaborative team.

In this role you will be an integral member of the Global Finance team responsible for a variety of core deliverables. You’ll have ample opportunity to deploy your technical skills to implement upcoming improvements in our accounting systems. As part of a global team, you’ll be equally comfortable posting a journal, updating a spreadsheet, mentoring a junior team member, or advising how to improve processes or implement new technologies. We are a collaborative team working across different time zones, each with our own responsibilities, and also common finance deliverables.
Essential Responsibilities
• Conduct month- and year-end closing activities including assisting with statutory financial statement preparation in multiple jurisdictions.
• Oversee AP and AR functions, fixed assets register, various taxes in multiple jurisdictions, and account reconciliations.
• Ensure that financial reporting is accurate, timely and in compliance with company policies and applicable tax reporting requirements.
• Assess current systems, practices, and procedures and make recommendations for improvements, particularly improvements that leverage software automation and, where application, artificial intelligence solutions in accounting environments.
• Support global compliance and registrations for various entities and subsidiaries.
• Manage financial and non-financial metrics to ensure key metrics are within the target range.
• Act as a primary point of contact for financial statement audits.
• Provide information for tax preparation, liaising with external tax advisors.

and concisely communicate business issues/risks. You’ll be asked to maintain a vigilant perspective on how to improve existing processes, structure, and policies to ensure PSC’s continued ability to grow.
Working Relationships
CFO, Finance Team, Leadership/Steering Team members, global General Managers and Business Unit leaders.
External Relationships:
Auditors, tax advisors and governmental reporting contacts in various countries.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
• Minimum of 7 years professional work experience with increasing level of responsibility, preferably in a consulting or job costing environment, technology or professional services industry
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, to include intermediate level Excel
• Experience with complex consolidations
• Work in a multi-currency environment with foreign exchange experience
• Demonstrated deep analytical skills, with the ability to identify the root cause of business performance issues
• Experience with NetSuite and SuiteProjects Pro or equivalent ERP systems
• Thorough understanding and knowledge of IFRS required, US GAAP knowledge a plus
• Legally authorized to work in USA or New Zealand without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with external audit and tax providers
• Demonstrated project management experience, with strong multi-tasking abilities
• Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and change
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization

What We offer
At PSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $133,394 USD to $200,091 USD
You may also be eligible to participate in our profit share program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S.-based employees also receive, per calendar year, 10 scheduled paid holidays, and 10 days of sick leave. Additionally, regular full-time employees accrue up to 15 days of paid vacation. We encourage our people to continually learn, grow and expand their skills and knowledge. Perhaps you would like to complete a master’s or a PhD but haven’t done so yet. We will reimburse a portion of your course fees, up to a maximum of $5,000.00 a year. We have offices in the US and Canada and we have been working in a distributed fashion for years. We are open to hybrid and remote work, or we can offer you a place in one of our offices if you prefer.
